We’re two Brits who’ve lived all over the world, between us, we’ve called more than six countries home over the past five years. From Dubai to Thailand, Turkey to Morocco, UK to Oman, and now Qatar… every move was for work, for opportunity, for growth.

But there’s one thing we could never leave behind: the food.

We’re talking proper UK-style peri-peri chicken. That classic high-street doner kebab after a long day. The sauces, the flavours, the kind of comfort food that’s more than just a meal. It’s nostalgia. It’s home.

We’d go as far as getting friends and family to bring it over, freezing it, rationing it, trying to hold on to that little bit of the UK in whatever country we were in. And the more we met other expats abroad, especially here in Qatar, the more we realised we weren’t alone. Everyone missed the same thing.

So we asked ourselves, why hasn’t anyone brought that feeling here properly? That authentic British takeaway experience? No watered-down versions. No compromises. Just the real thing.

That’s how the idea was born.

We spent nearly a year trying to source everything from the UK, the marinades, the doner, the ingredients that actually hit the spot. It hasn’t been easy. Logistics are a nightmare. Import rules are strict. But we’ve done it. Because we wanted to build something that gives people a taste of home, wherever they’re from.

And for those who’ve never been to the UK. We want to give you that experience too. A bite of what we grew up on. A flavour that’s stood the test of time in every British city.
